I'm in the market fur a new jigsaw I don't need anything super fancy just a durable job site one, any recomendations?
x3.:thumbsup:x2 on Bosch...
Although I have a B&D Commercial circa 1979 that I can't kill...
I looked the other day at my lumberyard and they're still made in SwitzerlandRustbucket said:I'm going to go against the grain here and say Makita. Not that Bosch doesn't make a good jigsaw, but I don't think the current crop is that great. The older ones that were made in Switzerland were fantastic, but I think the new models are made in Malaysia.
Actually, it's made in the UK, but that still doesn't change the fact that the Bosch jigsaw that is currently in the market is not as good as the 1590, 158x, etc. Those were made to a higher standard.jlsconstruction said:And the Makita is made in china
That's the cheap DIY Makita.
I had the barrel grip Bosch model . When it got wet and stopped working . I picked up a ridgid r3121 model . Was surprise how nice of jigsaw it is .Patriots9454 said:I'm in the market fur a new jigsaw I don't need anything super fancy just a durable job site one, any recomendations?
