That's not realy a problem, I still sell mechanically fastened vinyl windows and have sold thousands of windows in the past with no problems. In my own house I have mechanically fastened windows. Of course I've been in the window business for about 30 years and all we had was mechanically fastened when I started.
renewal is a pretty window but if you get a savvy window salesman in the home AFTER you do your presentation, you could have a problem due to the high cost. its a nice window with plenty of brand recognition so getting an exclusive dealership should be profitable. where i am,renewal gets 1000 -1200 per opening. just gotta be a good salesman.
