When I was a youngster those many many years ago I worked weekends at my fathers service station. I was a Sinclair, one of the promos was a Dino the Dinosaur 9V transistor radio.

That's funny. My dad and uncle had a Sinclair station back in the 60's and we had Dino the Dinosaur soap.

Music on the jobsite should revolve around some respect and courtesy. It does seem a lot of people are unaware of their surroundings. New construction jobsites are probably the most forgiving. I never understood the lack of appreciation some crews have for an established residential neighborhood and how loud music might affect potential customer's (neighbors) reaction. As is obvious in the responses to this thread, some people just don't like it. If the music can be clearly heard by the next door neighbor, it's too loud......especially when certain kinds of music already have a limited audience.

I do play music though a bluetooth speaker quite often. I am completely (well mostly anyway) aware of my surroundings and adjust volume accordingly.

I laughed when I heard Apple was discontinuing the earphone plug and how they thought it would go wireless-have to agree that it's been one of the more helpful things that's happened for me. I'll wear the Air Pro's b/c of the sound cancelling which helps when running tools.
