Incredibly humbled. A man I'd never met before last fall, came & participated in a couple hunts Jenny & I co hosted with Missouri Disabled Sportsmen. David Sherman & I hit it off with many shared interests, including laser engraving & woodworking. Dave insisted that he wanted to do something for Jenny & I. He commented that the stained glass inserts I had put in our cabinet doors, didn't look right ( I agreed). So, he designed & made these 3D carvings for the cabinets in our great room. Talk about the cherry on top. Couldn't be happier with how they came out.

Basically. We sealed them, the coated with stain, let get thick, then wiped off excess. Then top coated.

Nope. EZ stain's don't give adhesion issues. Mixes well with lacquer thinner for shading/toning as well.

Thanks for the kind words everyone. We're pretty proud of how the room came together. My wife hand painted everyone of those ceiling tiles. Reclaimed from an 1890's opera house in Kenmare ND. This is the room I take clients into to show our skillset. Don't have much trouble selling jobs in this room.
