I had a quart of leftover paint to pour from a gallon can into a 1 quart plastic half and half bottle for storage. I did not have a funnel handy but had an old tube of silicone that had set up in the tube. I cut the end off the tube and pulled the silicone plug out and had a nice small funnel. It was nice that the silicone had set up, because it came out in one piece and left no residue in my new funnel... so no cleaning.

I'm gonna keep that funnel for getting gas in the chainsaw that I have to prime. Nice small tip for that. I unscrewed the tip for a better flow rate for the paint pour... or you can cut any size opening in the tip.

Nice funnel but I would have probably made a cone out of some paper and then thrown it away.
Cheers Jim
True, but like I said, this one will be good for getting gas into the spark plug port when I need to prime my chain saw that won't start cold.

Just another work-around.

I use a 20 oz. pop bottle in a pinch.

That was some pricey caulk you let set-up.
Yep. That was from a solid surface top job about 4 years ago. Still had it in the shop, but haven't had another job in that color.

Pop bottles are good too, but I only drink coke in glass bottles.:jester:

Have a great day,

You were a Southerner in a previous life  The little 8oz bottles ice cold are the best.

Nice tip too.
