immovable anode rod

I've wrenched so hard its moving the heater. Ive used wd-40 and still no luck. Shound i try a small torch? Whats my next step. I'm not a plumber. So I dont have any tips.My field is demolition. Thank you

It is not a penetrating oil, rust preventative or any other type of snake oil. I learned this in the 70's when it ruined $14K worth of collectible rifles.
