Doing another reside/window/door..
Laid waste to 4000 sq ft house worth of red cedar board and batten, 5\4 x 10" and 5/4 x3". Kinda hurt a bit doing it, you know? Nothing feels better than filling dumpster with vinyl, but this stings. I would love to side a this house in cedar, but Im tearing it off and putting up the hardie.

Maybe I'm just low on testosterone...but I miss Cedar. (misting eyes)

(Saved a couple to run through the planer though....I have a propane tank to build a small fence around....I think that makes me certified green or LEED :laughing

Trust me, you have low T levels. Get them checked and start some repacement therapy. Then tell me if you miss cedar...lol

I hear ya Totes. My favorite was Cedar Blue Label #1's with undercourse. Man I loved shingleing sidewalls. The smell of 15lb felt when you open the roll, Laceing the outside corners and finishing with a block plane, and lets face it, what looks more beautiful than a home freshly shingled in cedar. Thanks for reminding me.
