I cut my own phone cable

Yep! I came home hot & tired, had 4 bushes and 3 trees that really needed to go into the ground. I knew within a foot or two of where the cable was but got into a rush and just didn't think about it, the spade went right through it.

I guess that I get the dumb A of the week award.

Ah, memories. I recall, after OneDig flagged everything, one real bad day a few years ago... our backhoe went through an unmarked gas main and connected lateral. Had to run like hell and evacuate the neighborhood. That was a long scary day.
Years ago I was working for an excavating company that always had the contract to dig the ditches where underground electrical had failed. Two of us were hand digging where Blue Stake had marked for a water line when we heard...... ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ. This was very loud and feaked us out. It wasn't us it was the b-hoe operator. He had hit a live underground electric line. The crazy thing was we where a block away when it we heard it. Luckily the operator was ok. Blue Stake mis-marked for the electric.

I cut down a fern amongst weeds with my weed eater (this would be the SECOND time in the last three years according to my girlfreind:eek:)

Not sure if that matches the ramifications of re splicing your phone line or not.

Needless to say my dog and I have an understanding on how to share a 3'X4' house:whistling Did you know Advantage works on humans to?(AC gets installed next week:clap:) LOL

While working a framing job a couple years ago, I fired my framing gun right through one of the other guy's air hose. Dead nutted it, too!

Found my tool belt screwed to the floor when I got back from lunch that day.
Not personally related. I worked for a large municipality south of here for almost 7 yrs. We hit everything. BIG stuff too. Often multiple times! I left because I couldn't stand the moronic mindset of government.
