There are many reputable stained glass pros who offer over glazing panels that have air weeps/baffles installed to allow air transfer in and out,it looks like a storm panel insert that is usually made of Lexan MR-5 or 10 which is a polycarbonate sheet,it will have a uv inhibitor on one side, helps to stop the uv rays from fading the painted surfaces.
I bet that you will have a church or two in the neighborhood that has these installed, have a chat with the pastor he can lead you to the supplier/installer,you may get sticker shock for the price, the sheets are very pricey and come in limited sizes, thus you will incur the cost of any waste material. you can also contact your local glass company, they can provide them also.
