So I am building a custom built in desk for my uncle. Its out of 3/4 oak ply. I Glued and nailed it together in place and then slid it up against the wall where I screwed it to the wall. He now wants to lower the desk 2 inches..... Because of how its sits I have to cut 2 inches off the bottom then take the crews out and lower it to the floor. So how is the best way to do this?
Trade finish carpentry and you asking how to lower a desk 2"...?
Please tell me you trying to introduce yourself with a joke, because I know it's not April Fools day yet
But in case this is not a joke, raise the floor 2" and you will be OK.
