Hello,

We are precast concrete producer and we are using Atlas Copco XATS 156-352CFM air compressor and Clemco pot to dry sandblasting our precast concrete panels to expose the aggregates (normally 2-3mm) from the surface.

In our present sandblasting, dust is generated and we want to eliminate or reduce it. Where to start?

Can we convert our present dry sandblasting to wet sandblasting machines able to expose 2-3mm of the concrete without dust?

Or we have to buy new Farrow or GeoBlaster system to obtain dustless sandblasting work?

Regards,

I would try a WIN nozzle first. One would be about $700 from Blast-One for a #7.

This would at least give you an idea if water injected blasting works for the dust control you want. There is always a trade off, what was dust will now be a water based slurry.
