Last year our best producer by far was events. We were at over 30 events; home shows, fairs, flea markets, street fairs etc. Our total cost for this without the staffing was near 40K. The remaing monies spent were print ads, jobsite mailers, and a few other things which frankly didn't produce well at all. The market place is changing rapidly. Things that worked two years ago are not nearly as effective today. Our total marketing % last year was 7% with lead cost of $145.00 per lead. That's pretty good considering the times.
