Last year our best producer by far was events. We were at over 30 events; home shows, fairs, flea markets, street fairs etc. Our total cost for this without the staffing was near 40K. The remaing monies spent were print ads, jobsite mailers, and a few other things which frankly didn't produce well at all. The market place is changing rapidly. Things that worked two years ago are not nearly as effective today. Our total marketing % last year was 7% with lead cost of $145.00 per lead. That's pretty good considering the times.

Buddy- that is good. One of the guys I work with did well at home shows too last year. They've added a few more this year. They have a very unique product for the home owner. It's a higher ticket item too- so it seems the combo that works best for that price point is the home shows, a specific magazine ad to a tight target demographic, the organic web presence we've gained and their follow up of leads from the home shows.

Keep up the great work. Stay consistent on what's working.

Walk in tubs?
