How difficult of a fix is this floor joist/truss?

We are building a house and I have no clue how major of an issue this is. It looks like the floor joist is too long from what I can see. An engineer is supposed to be working on a repair. It’s located on the stairs. Can anyone give me an idea of how bad this is and what might be done to fix this?

It means you build a whole another wall top and bottom so it planes out on that corner.
How in the world could someone frame that and miss it?
Floor trusses are engineered. A fix can be found.

Find the outfit that supplied the trusses and talk to them.

The floor package paperwork will have the info.

thats what my builder is doing, consulting the engineers. I just need some kinda way to save this because we are between a rock and a hard place 😢

It could be rocked and considered a "feature"....but resale might be difficult.

Those shiny metal plates are designed to be present. You can't "cut" anything......it was located incorrectly. All kidding aside, I feel bad for you.
