Only 80 degrees here. Must be nice to actually have changes in weather where you are at.

Come on over and shovel some of this snow!

Right now I could do without those "changes in weather"....
Sunny, 60 degrees, great weather here in Albuquerque.

Are you nuts ? It's 20 below, my dogs can't stand in one place for fear of their feet freezing to the ground, everything in my yard is covered in 18" of snow, my truck may not start on any given day, I have to wear another 20lbs of clothing to stay warm, and.................

But hey, that's Canada, got to love it.

Rainy/cloudy temp somewhere in the high 40 to low 50's
Cold, but warmer and it is only 23F.

We only have 4-6" of snow, but the Turkeys have scratched the snow away to get the excess from the bird feeders.

Getting ready to go ice fishing about 120 miles north in a carpeted, temperature controlled, heated fish house with satellite TV, recliners, refrigerator, fish alarms, freezer inside and fishfinders. It is really roughing it with a few thousand other ice houses where people thumb there noses at the weather and then drive a couple of miles across the ice to a restaurant and casino with entertainment. - Typical winter entertainment for a week end.

Man I'd love to spend some time where it rains more and actually snows. I used to spend a lot of time in the mountains and even worked at a ski resort just out of high school.

Lucky if it even rains here. Maybe 5 times a year.

I'm dreaming of a white Christmas....but alas, I don't think its going to happen here (London, Ontario) The grass is still green!!

Thankfully, we will be travelling a few hours north for Christmas and I'm pretty sure it'll be white!!

(when I say thankfully, its because my kids will stop asking "when is it going to snow?)

A little less then an inch here. Boy does this winter suck so far. Bah humbug!
I thought I woke up upstate! We averaged 24" I still can't believe it! Spent all day cleaning snow & will probably do so for a couple days at work. The bad part is they didn't get this where we go snowmobiling, oh well, looks to be a white Christmass for sure this year.

It is just fine in Minneapolis/St. Paul with a temp of 22F at 8:00PM. We have a 4" snow cover to make things look clean and good. No snow or ice on the roads. Since we always have a clear sky when it cold, the snow and ice disappears without running off (called transpiration), so the warmer weather around 30-40F lead to clouds and problems.

The only concern is the lack of more snow for good snowmobiling and skiing, but the ski hills can always make and groom, but appreciate the fresh powder. Ice fishing is not a problem since the roads on the lakes are plowed and the 12x24 ice houses with heat, TV dishes, refrigerators and even freezers always work and are occupied. We have a lake north of me that has a weekend population of 10,000-20,000 people and they drive a few miles to get off the lake to go out for dinner and gambling at the casino. - Winter is just a state of mind and planning.

At least we will have a White Christmas, that does not always happen. Iowa, southern Minnesota and western Wisconsin steal all the snow we want.
