Well my first thought was.... :eek: WTF. But then after looking closer, I have to admit I started to think....................... :eek: WTF.

"Sure...4x4 posts are plenty big..........what? 2 at each location? Naaaaaaaaa, just put one in the center, it'll work."

There are a lot of wooden roller coasters around, but they're WAY over-built. I doubt you'd find a 2x4 or a 4x4 anywhere on them.

I pretty sure I wouldn't let my child on that thing.

Looks good to me, assuming his connectors are up to snuff. His isn't as complicated to design as a real roller coaster with multiple cars. The multiple cars keeps designers from just using a single angled post the way this guy did.

And yes, I've ridden the Santa Cruz roller coaster - all wood and plenty of 2X4s.
