stick a kitchen match in the crack of a sidewalk. tape some sandpaper to a bucket tooth. light the match without breaking the match stick. then you got some skills
I'd give it a try, but can't find the "strike anywhere" matches around here. Someone must have outlawed them.....
Back in the day we used to see who could light one off with their finger nail....never could figure out how in the movies they would light one off of some guy's face...

I picked an egg up off a cone with a excavator with a thumb and put it on another cone.

I use to do that as a kid to be like the guys in the movies, one time the head of the match lit and broke off under my finger nail and I never did it again.
