14.4volt is a thing of the past. That kit must be like 3 years old. Either buy some real tools or just stick to fixing up your home. Employer?? Thought your title said General Contractor. Prepare to be booted.
Hitachi Tools?
I just got paid this week by my employer. I got my pay and a Hitachi tool kit that he took out my pay. It is a 14.4 volt pack with a drill, circ saw, light, guide and some drill bits. I was wondering if you guys can give me some good or bad reviews on this brand of tools.

perhaps his employer is his client... don't assume!
If it's the Lithium ion 14.4v kit then they aint bad tools and will be fine for smaller jobs. How much did he charge you for the kit?
Its a decent kits, nothing special, all depends how much he charged you. If I didn't get to choose my own tools and had it taken out of my pay I would have been pissed (dependant on the price I paid).
