Does anybody know of a cup-style hinge for face frame cabinets that opens less than 90 degrees? I know Blum makes a restrictor for their 107 degree hinges, but it only appears to work with the frameless kind (from what I can see from the website) The cab doors are 1-1/2" overlay.

Thanks

Dave, I'm not exactly sure what you are looking for. The term "cup-style" isn't ringing a bell.

PM me a link to what you have found from Blum and I'll see if I can help you.

If you don't want to go through the hassle you can try http://baersupply.com and see if they have what you want. I think http://iscsurfaces.com actually carries that stuff too. I have accounts at both places. Maybe I can help you get what you need or something.

The standard European hinge design where the door gets drilled to receive the "cup" of the hinge.

Now, I have never used a Face-frame European hinge that opened less than ninety degrees.

I deal with a company called CabinetWare.com If you call them I am confident they could help you locate what you are looking for.

They are extremely knowledgeable in handling this type of situation.
