are they worth the high cost. i would put them to heavy use and i am wondering if they are that much lighter(tools) and that more powerful. i have my eye on makitas system.

Max offers a large line of the high pressure tools. From what I have read their PowerLite line is approximately 40% lighter and 20% more compact than most tools. So far from the reviews most people have been surprisingly happy.

The new line of Bosch nailers looks interesting. They say 20% smaller and 10% more powerful. Work at standard pressures, so no need for a whole new setup.

Mitsui Home Canada is a builder of Prefab homes that are shipped all across north america. They use this system (((MAX )))and have for years. Most of the people using the guns state that they are less fatigued and sore from not packing the extra weight and so on. They are not cheap either but I would venture to say it will be a great product. Also look at the Makita site in Japan, they also have released what looks similar to Max System ( wouldnt be suprised if Max makes it for them. Some guns in the past 5 -7 years have been made by Max and rebadged as other company's would have them...
