Herringbone tile, it was not a fun project and it was very far from home, The tile the client bought was very brittle even though I had a new blade most tiles would Chip out or I would lose a whole chunk and have to replace that piece!

I tile my backsplashes and other stuff on occasion. I have an inexpensive wet saw that I threw out after the last job doing crackled tile. Constant chipping.

Had nothing to do with the blade I believe the rotation had a slight wobble and so did the sled making it too sensitive.

Anyway you got through it, hopefully caulking the countertop covered chipping.
Looks tedious.
Neat work.

About a month prior to this project I did a bathroom floor In Carrera herringbone and I had no problems at all with cutting the tile, the floor was unglazed but this backsplash had a high polish, several of the tiles were cracking along the vein.

Since I had so many holes To patch and only had a few days to get this done I chose the kurdi As a way to stabilize the wall.
