Well 1st off you have to have a plan. When you get a job dpnt spend it all. You need to set money a side for advertising, machine wear for when your some of ur equipment breaks donw etc. You need to honestly need to sit down and rate your work? If you are great painter and produce a awesome finished job then market towards that. If you are a ok painter then you cant charge as much and need to market that way. And if you are not a good painter then you need maybe think of going to work for a painter and learn the trade. No offense I really dont know your skill level. A big way to get your name out there is actuallly getting out there. Get involved with ur communty. The more people you are in contact with the more people who will know what you do. When you are out at a job bring a sign in which you can put in the customers yard. Also get to know the poeple on either side of your job. There is alot ways to adertise for free or very little money. The big thing is knowing what the going rates are in your area. The big reason for comapny's not making is under pricing! Good luck. Remember most small company's fail in the first yr. The first yr is the hardest.
