Another vote for the Makita JR3070CT. I got one a couple of months ago at grandcloseouts.com (A.R. Pennycuff) for $130, which was the best deal I could find. I think they still have them at that price.

There's a decent comparison of reciprocating saws in the JLC online archives. I'd post a link, but CT's site setup won't let new members do so. :sad:

My bosch rs20 trigger broke after 6 months of light use (fixed under warranty), then it broke again right after the warranty period. POS in my opinion, I still haven't bought another bosch tool and I buy a lot of tools

My yellow one did not last. I have 2 PC's that do well.One has the rotating/articulating head that is a pain to keep locked..but has its place in tight spots. My favorite is the Mil-super.Drag it thru a water filled crawlspace,drop it ..freeze it ..blow out the blade release and keep going.
