I have been doing custom cabinets for about 30 years but did not go into business until about 3 years ago when I retired from my "real" job after 31 years. My "real" job was an instructional systems specialist for the Army (civilian). For the most part I built websites and web training for the U.S. Army.

Now I am Anderson's Woodworks, LLC and I am a home improvement contractor in VA. I mainly do custom cabinetry and built-ins. I also do kitchen and bath refacing, custom radiator covers, and a lot of other oddball things that people come up with. That is what I like about my job; I rarely do the same thing twice. Everything is a little different. I try to fill the void where off the shelf cabinets from the box stores will not work. This is the case in some of the older historic homes. Check out my website for some of my work.

I found this board through another one and I have found a wealth of info on it. There are some very skilled craftsmen here! I always say that I learn something on every job I do (not always good). I hope to learn a lot from the experience on this board.
