Or Rhode Island, or....hell.....you'll just continue to try to deflect.

Those are articles written about what goes on in your state - that you say does not go on.

In other words, your neighbors are fact checking you.
LOL, a bostonglobe article about illegals being used by MA contractors is rampant and saying one was working in Portland maine fits exactly what I've said. Read your own link, it's about MA contractors.

You're just going to have to understand this stuff yourself.

There's 7 links in my post - all have good information.

Your neighbors say you are full of sh!t.

Truth is you don't have a clue about the construction industry in Maine, Massachusetts, or anywhere else.

Good lord, the level of bickering here reminds me of... wait for it...

An office full of women.

Take a chill pill, guys.
Or just ignore it since we aren't hurting anyone and everyone is pretty civil.

You really are this ignorant. No, you said what you meant, that no woman could do that. It's a pretty clear statement with no room to wiggle. It's nothing like your example. It's simple. You had two guys who could barely do it and you stated that no woman could do that. You weren't calling out an abnormality, but a specific. But the back peddling and ass covering is cute. Don't be a puss, own your statement.

BTW, anecdotal evidence is just that, it isn't definitive and a poor argument. What you have seen or where I have worked is moot. There are plenty of women who do it everyday. Here's an example, I have never been to Hawaii, I guess it doesn't exist because I haven't seen it.
Yup I'm stupid ignorant and dumb,,, I said one thing and you turned it around to another,, I don't care you win:clap: you can have it.. I'm a loser. As a guy in WoodCraft store that know my boy said. I'm living the dream.. I raised 2 kids in Hawaii surfing and windsurfing killer waves and catching tasty fish. I don't care about construction..:whistling

I grew up on a farm with 6 younger sisters, who all learned to get dirty. I'd hire the majority of my sisters to work for me, because of their abilities, integrity, and willingness to work hard.

When I was newly married, my wife would work on jobs with me.

None of them chose the construction field as their profession, including my wife. One of my two brothers is, however, in the construction industry.

Point being, women do not appear to be choosing construction work as a job, in the percentages that men are. The interesting thing is, that some of them could probably earn more money in the trades, than the fields they eventually chose. Income level appears to be a lesser motive for employment/ work.

There is definetly more money in the trades than in the common working class jobs women usually do.

You can work retail for 10 years and maybe break 15 bucks an hour.

I'd pay a marginally competent person that if they just showed up sort of on time and ready to work.

The women I've met in the trades are usually owners or related to the owners and are making bank. They work hard and play hard.

And they usually will out cuss most guys and don't get all butt hurt if you make a dirty joke. Unless your's is better than theirs.

In other words, they fit into a jobsite and do their work.

Most women I meet outside of construction wouldn't fit in that way. Especially the stories I hear about in retail. Easily butthurt and always feel put upon.

Of course, many if the younger guys in retail are the same.

I didn't turn anything around. You clearly said that you had guys do a huge task and that there was no woman that could do that. It's pretty clear. I can't help it if you cannot clearly communicate your point. That's on you not me. The rest is just you again trying to avoid what you said. Again, I don't mind calling out dumb chit you say. You have an odd way of showing you don't care.

Pretty easy to let go if you let it go, but you can't. You act like you are better, but you know you aren't. Let's see if you can let it go and not comment again. My guess is you can't, only time will tell, loser.

Lol, pot calling the kettle black. I knew you couldn't resist. Too easy my man too easy. And no, you won't goad me with that one. I don't care about the last post trip wire. It doesn't define winning or losing, it's just fun to see how many times I can get you to respond. Bet you can't resist.

Really:blink: Yesterday we carried 45 sheets of very wet 5/8ths PT plywood to the back yard and set them on saw horses to be pulled up to the roof. The 2 men with me could barley do it. There is no way a woman could do it. I was the only one there that could pull them onto the roof alone. There is a reason construction is a male dominated trade
It happens when someone will not own up to what they said... It is funny watching him squirm tho.

I just want to let you know: if the time comes that you say something profound, we left the lights on for ya.
