Absolutely. They are a fantastic source of information, especially for free. I went to a few of their seminars and they were a little on the slow side, but you meet other business owners to network with later (you never know who you're going to meet). Some of the speakers had impressive backgrounds in their career. They didn't get there by messing around.
Has anyone used SCORE?
SCORE is a free resource for people trying to start businesses. I went to a meeting with them on Wednesday.

Every newbie contractor should utilize that agency and even those that think they know it.
The potential networking would be a great resource alone at that.
