Hard hat confusion helmet vs tyle ii hard hat

Insurance told us to require safety helmet or a type II helmet with side protection. Why do helmets Kask Zenith X, Petzl Strato, cen10, etc. only offer type I protection? Bullard advent hard hat is type II and new Zenith x2 type is II safety helmet.
Seems silly not to get a normal looking advent type II or to pay a lite more for the Zenith x2. advent does look heavy. Also hate that all these are EN 12492 rated and not the EN 397 rated straps that will come off before choking you out.

The type of work you are doing dictates what type of hardhat is best suited.

What tupe f work do you do that needs side protection? Or are you shilling for a product you sell …
Insurance wil go way up if we don't change over. Main hazard is work ladder and scaffold and slips and falls. We do fall protection 6 ft ladder and 10 ft scaffold rule. At safety class they said slip and fall is most common injury where strapped climbing style helmets stay on.

You've still not answered what type of work you do.
The strap on hardhats and helmets are typically only used by ironworkers, linemen, tower repairmen, scaffold builders, tree climbers, etc. who are always working at heights in windy conditions.

Is there a question in there somewhere?
