Guy using my fence in his craigslist ad...

I was browsing craigslist the other day and came across my fence. I immediately contacted the HO to ask if this person had done any work for them. He said he hired them to stain the fence but fired them before completion due to crappy work.

Technically, the guy did stain the fence and take his own pics but he's very general in his ad leading people to believe he built it. I asked him to ad the disclaimer that he only stained the fence but he was a douche and refused.

I'm not really looking for advice, just sharing. I know he'll be gone in no time. He has some of the worst reviews I've seen in a while.

Did you flag his post I think CL has mods that can remove a falsified post.

That would really pi$$ me off too.

Yeah, I've flagged all of his ads with my fence.
I had the Pennysaver swoop in and buy my web address before I could lock it down (MLWConstruction.com) and using it to direct people to my competitions ads. To this day they won't give up my company name so I have to live with MLWconstruction.net for my website.
His add reads like a used car sales man pitch.

At the end he mentions retired carpenters and painters?? Doesn't advertising for work make you working not retired

What a douche bag.

Have you thought about using watermarks on your pictures?
