Any of you heard of this is it worth $4.00 per foot. should i trust the 25 year no clog warranty? This is material cost only i figure i could install for 2 maybee 3.00 per foot extra. I can get the leafproof system for $2.75 per foot but their is no warranty for clogging. Anyone used this stuff with snow and Ice?

Went to their website, I don't think that any foam could absorb our rain which would render the gutter useless. Another thought is maintanence, what happens as the foam cells accumulate dirt and grit? I believe that it would eventually form a solid surface and be a monster to clean.
In regards to ice and snow, much would depend on current conditions. I can see water trapped in the foam freezing and the foam losing its porosity, eventually becoming an extension of the roof.
I think that it's another 'seemed like a good idea' products.
Just an engineer's standpoint.

Thanks for the replies,
i have the same opinion, I have actually installed it on 2 homes so far. My roll -off service that i have used for 6 years now personally guaranteed this product for 25 years. Otherwise i would not have installed it. the one house i did about a year ago it has solved the problem of clogging. no problems in the winter with ice. i went out about a week ago to this customer just to check in and see how it was performing he said it works great even in the heaviest rains. so i set my ladder up to take a look the top was completely covered with some kind of small oak seeds looks like oatmeal. but nothing caught in the material itself. also the material is so porous it does not hold any moisture. homeowner says they still seem to be working even with the crap ontop. the top of the foam is now actually hard which concerns me that it may be breaking down although it is not brittle. the other house i did a week ago it has rained daily since then. one problem on 2 story draining onto one story gutter the one story foam gutter guard does not seem to be able to handle the heavier rains since the gutter guard fills 2/3rds of gutter this restriction causes the water to overflow. i solved by adding another downspout.

I have been getting alot of calls and i know there is no system completely fullproof but need to offer my customers something other than the cheap plastic ones that fly off or you have to clean everytime a leaf blows in the downspout.

so let me put it this way if a homeowner tells you i am going to get some leaf guards installed which do you recomend?

what would yo say?

I normally say nothing is fullproof but here is a product my roll off service guarantees for 25 years. or go to the home depot buy the cheap ones just check them twice a year. or pay gutter helmet or gutter topper $12.00 a foot for their warranty that may damage the roof since they are under the second row of shingles.

Most people are running to the Home Depot.

This stuff works in Detroit !

Yes I have! I have trees all over my house roof, and was cleaning my gutters two or more times a year because of seed of the week and heavy leaf build up. Ice dams were also a major problem due to the quirky weather we have in Detroit. Snow, rain, thaw, freezeing snow, you get the picture.

As a builder I had tried everything out there on my home. Most of the products could not hack it for one reason or the other. Some even risked roof leaks or where priced over $12.00 a foot installed.

I tried GutterStuff, loved it and became a tri county distributor for Southeast Michigan. I'll drop ship anywhere in the US if the business comes my way. I often carry a sample around with me in my work truck and when I see a homeowner struggling to clean out his gutters I walk up and introduce my little friend to them.

Fastest sale I ever make. Your cost is about right but a bit low based on recent price increases. I sell it for $4.25 a foot in small lots Under 500 feet.

Be sure you are getting the new material known as GutterStuff pro. It's really new and improved. One hint, don't force it to make it fit. It has a memory and will pull back to its original shape which will leave a gap in your protection. Hope this information helps.

Gutter filter

( gutter filter)I use it in my koi pond filter for the last 2 years. It keeps the pond crystal clear. But its starting to clog faster and is losing its shape. I have leaf proof on the front of my house and good old contractor screens on the back. The screen work better with proper pitch. That curly stuff just washes out. You can install the screens at $3.00 a ft. and make good money.

Ok I just did a 400' copper gutter job with a GutterFill foam gutter guard insert. I didn't use my typical waterfall system because it's only available white and tan, that doesn't look well with copper. I bid copper screens but needless to say they are pricey.

So far so good. They install real fast and easy and costed me about the same as the waterfall.
