I bought one of those from Aldi about three years ago at $200. For $200 it makes a great backup generator. I've loaned mine out, & used it a few times myself during ice, & wind storm blackouts. I was impressed with it's overall performance. I probably wouldn't buy it to use daily. The engine looks like a Honda knock off, seems to run run like one. The cheapest thing I've seen that's comparable is double the $200 price.

Surpised it doesn't run on Coal considering the country of origin.

I might be a little nervous about hooking anything expensive up to it, dirty power at 50Hz can be bad for electronics.

Wouldn't be a bad idea to buy up 50 of them and resale them for $500 each after the next big hurricane. Only Joking.
