Wondering if anyone has experience with the graco hoppers that can be added to one of their airless sprayers. Specifically, does it let you use a quart or less of paint (with a 25 ft hose) to just do a small spray job or touch up? Or do you still need more than a quart?

Tired of buying a gallon when I want to spray just a little and I’m wondering if this would do it.

Works great.

You can shoot a quart if you use two whips instead of the 25’hose.

I sprayed a house last week, using the hopper. I don’t mind refilling it.

I like to monitor it, and dump water in it to chase the last quart out of the hose.

Faster cleanup.

Thanks, that’s just the feedback I need. I’m gonna get a hopper and the whips.

Just yesterday, I had to spray a single 8’ 1x6 to finish a job. A half gallon was almost not enough by the time the sprayer was fully primed.

This is the one that should fit my sprayer:

There may be different ones for different models/pumps.

Thanks for posting this. I'm always reluctant to pull out my airless for small jobs, the hopper / whip hose combo seems a great solution!

Just remember to remove the wand if you normally use one, so you don’t get spits on your door.
