Hey guys! I'm a new lawn and landscape maintance guy from the Charleston, S.C. area and have a siding question. I just bought a house built in 96 that has GP, or LP Waferboard siding. And if you've ever seen this stuff before you know it's rotting around some of the nail holes, and most of the bottom boards are gone. The rest looks pretty good. So,.... would you just repair the damaged areas, or replace all the siding?

I have about 3,800 Sqf. of siding, and have two quotes of 17,000(no paint), and 26,000(with paint job) to replace with Cement fiber. I also have a quote of 7,000 for just repairing the damaged areas. What do you all think of these's numbers?

Thanks, Robert.
