GMPN100-4 coil red/no flame

Everything seems to be in order, accept I'm getting no flame. The unit starts and a few relay cliks later the glow coil gets red, then no flame. The status LED shows 1 blink. I'm leaning toward this being a gas flow problem, perhaps the flow switch. Might I have forgotten to pay the gas bill this month? Please help, it's cold!

is the gas valve on? what's a flow switch?

Check the gas cock to see if it on, then check the top of the gas valve, there should be an on off switch, make sure it is on. after the glow coil turns orange (1900 degrees) and gets a bright as it can, do you here another click? this would be the gas valve energizing and opening to feed fuel the the burner. it can be a loose wire issue. is there any smell of gas? if there is then the ignitor may be misalligned and it shuts down on no flame signal.
