i am working in pretty hard ground. mostly it is dry earth under sod. i produce about 2000' of trench per day digging 8' deep and 36" to 50" wide.

i have esco super v adapters and am looking for the best tooth design.

i have been using twin and single tigers, but they get burnt up so fast.

are there better super v designs for what i am doing.

oh, i do get into the occasional rock or rock ledge.

I feel your pain

Just finished a 2 acre lake. Ate up the twin tigers, but towards the end, I got a good welder who had worked with a major excavation company for 20 years.
As soon as the tips wore down, he would cut the tips at an angle to reshape them. They last longer.

Also a patient operator helps.
