We are converting our detached garage into an ADU.
Our garage was built on a sloping driveway (1950's style!).
Designer is recommending that we install a subfloor over the existing concrete slab to basically match the height of the concrete curb(sample images below).
Is there another way for us to keep the flooring as is (ground level) to allow a higher ceiling?
