You'll probably end up parting it out because the motor is wound for Canadian power.:jester:

You joke but around here you almost never see 277/480 like in the US, we use 347/600.

no we have 208/240/600. 3 phase
odd would be 25 hz

wadkin used that motor winding for Canada and the US

looks like a 70s machines and its the Wilson and William dealer tag too.
the first 2 numders is the test are the year. you better thank Panda real good for that one.:thumbsup:
there a big one for sure. The bobbin sander can be had solo . I have the JY.

This is a 230/460 volt machine, which is slighty odd for Canada, the majority seem to be 575v.

It is a disc and bobbin sander. Bobbin would be what we call a spindle sander.
230/460 motors arnt that rare but I've never seen a building with that service. 230 motor should run just fine on 208.
