Blastserves new blasting room got me thinking. What options do we have to protect the floors of our blast rooms/areas?

I'm also putting together my blast area right now and need to get some ideas on how to protect the concrete floor.

One option I read here is TSC sells 3/4" rubber mats 4' wide and 6' long for horse stalls, they also have 1/4" recycled rubber mats in 4' wide in 25' rolls.

TSC said their 3/4" 4'x6' mat is a 100 pounds. I think the 1/4" x 4' x 25' cut into four 8'-3" sections would be easier to manage.

I am on my way to go purchase 6 more horse stall mats... They work great and once down unless you have water getting into your blast areas making mud they shouldn't have to be moved. 1/4 material might blow around if your forcing air at the ground.
