I live in Clermont (20 miles west of Orlando) and it missed us by about 2 miles. We got a lot of wind and rain but just down the road they have no power, trees are down, damaged houses, everything is messed up!
Its funny how close it got to use without really being that bad at our place...
For a little while it was pointed right at us then went north again. We were in the northeast quadrant (usually the worst) and were expecting something but when it made landfall that section collapsed. As it was we only had gusts to 35 MPH and only got 0.1" of rain, that's not even a decent afternoon thunderstorm around here.
I'll be in and out for the next few days, I'm a volunteer driver for the Red Cross and they called last night.
Clermont, boy I guess thats funny, My Mom & Dad live there in the winter.
They have a place off 192, Outdoor Resorts is the name of the place.
Hope things are going well for the both of you guys, good luck Teet.
