Looks good from my house!

I would have handled it the same way you did.

Nice first job.

Thanks Robie!

One day I'll be good enough at this to make a living!

Took me 2 and a half days including the demo of the closet that was there before, but I think one of you guys could have knocked it out in an afternoon.

Gotta streamline the process!!

The floor was 2 1/2 inches out in 4 feet, how would you guys have handled it?
Thanks!
2 1/2" in 4'? Yikes! Do people stumble when they come through the door? I suppose you did the right thing, as long as the floor doesn't settle any more...was leveling the floor out some out of the options? :)

Yeah, I checked the crawl space after I realized how far out the floor was. He's got old true 2x8s 24 oc spanning about 16 feet!!

Looks pretty good.

As far as the floor goes, I couldn't bring myself to "fit" cabinetry to it. My advice would be to save up for correcting that floor.

Looks like a nice build to me. I don't think I would have bothered trying to disguise the floor being out. If its out that far everyone will notice anyway.

You could have built it up and created a toe kick maybe even an arch bottom to help hide some flaws but not 2+" in 4'.

Nice job.
