If you doing the job for the builders wouldn't you address it the the owner of the company?
Re: final cleanup

So should it be addressed as .........Dear builder?
Know who your writing. Use their name. If unknown, then "To whom it may concern".
ALL "To whom it may concern" mail goes immediately in the round file.

Either find out my name or stop by the jobsite & introduce yourself.

Have a professionally done business card with you.

Be prepared to answer questions on the spot.

Thanks Griz your always around when i need you! I'm always around construction sites through my day job and speak to supers.often..I just felt i should wait until the perception of my business looked professional before i approached them. In the mean time i've been trying to build some type of rapport with the ones that are willing. I got a few that are pretty cool.
Forget the letter. Cold call and keep written track of the results. Follow up again, no matter what they say.

Do you shampoo carpets? No one here does, & you would have a ton of business. Landlords are always asking me if i shampoo.
