I maintain a FB business page, mostly so people can use it as a quick reference to past work.
I've advertised on there before with little luck.
I ran another one with a 30 day stop though, and one week in this time around I've already booked 3 jobs and have a few more that are pending based on quotes to be submitted.
As much as I dislike targeted advertising when it's pointed at me, they seem to have it really dialed in now. I set my radius and age demographic, and let it roll, it's generating quite a few likes and a surprising number of messages so far, in areas that I will work in, but don't get to very often.
So if you guys are looking for a cheap way to really target an audience and have written off FB in the past, it might be worth re-visiting.
