NC state code treats these panels as wall coverings. Therefore a wind load study must be performed, fire spread rating performed by an engineer and electrical outlets spaced no more than 12' apart.
BI and El failed my Building and Electrical Finals for a 3 season porch because of these panels. The paneIs were removed from their frames, inspections scheduled and then passed both inspections without an issue.

If you build in NC... you've been warned.

Interesting. Does NC have a Product Code approvals for items such as windows and roofing etc?

Even in Florida they are not considered structural and we live in the land of Product Approval for everything.
