when they first popped up, about 2 years ago or so, they talked with the NGPP and offered us hangers a discount rate for a website. They wanted $1200 to build it, and I think $40 a month to maintain it. I laughed and said no way. I was able to talk them down, I agreed to pay $600 and no monthly fees for a year. I also stipulated it should look good, as she showed me a couple of their sites, which opened with some flash/splash and guaranteed mine would be comparable. Well after they built it, I laughed even harder. It looked like an 8th grader did it. It was terrible. So I didn't pay. Damn near had to go to court to get them to go away. Then when it came time to re-up the registration for my domain name, they wanted to charge me $150 to do it, or wouldn't give it up. It took calls from my lawyer to release the name to me, which was stated in my paperwork that I owned it already.
They still call me, trying to sign me up for aan overcharged referral/lead resource. I again said no way. They decided to email me some leads to show me what I would be getting. I got several email leads, all way off base. Mind you, I hang wallpaper and paint, these leads were for everything from laying drain tile, to pouring concrete for a bus stop.
They must have a high turnover rate with staff, everytime I had to call them, the last person I spoke with was 'no longer with us', and had to deal with someone new. They are nothing but high-pressure salesmen.
