Hey fellas... putting together an estimate and completely lost on this plumbing stuff. Client hasn't had the project engineered yet so I'm trying to put together my best guess on a water service size. The project is a small hotel with 20 guest rooms over three floors. Each one has typical three fixture bath. There will also be a simple restaurant for 100 people. bar and grill type. Any thoughts? I have no idea how to ballpark this other than I would guess somewhere in between 3" and 6" :surrender:

Water main is in the street 50 feet away.

Thanks for any insight.

The engineering really needs to be done before guessing at a price.

Is there going to be fire suppression required.

Will the main support this lateral?

What is the cost to the municipality to purchase a meter of that size?

That's a $200k water service around here.

Doesn't reflect trade pricing so hopefully this is not crossing the line, but just got estimate back from the municipality on tap fees for sewer and water. Holy schnikes!!! $750k to $1 million just in tap fees!!!! Unbelievable. Doesn't include another $50k in building permits. Whoaaa!
