Is there anyone here that is familiar with a built up roof using an Elvaloy(brand name) top. I am working with a job where the roof is showing significant cracking of the elvaloy material. The roof architect claims it is hail damage. Some are concentric circles, however, very large circles. There are not corresponding damages to the vent caps, or metal flashing to indicate hail. Is there any information available regarding defects in this elvaloy materials. I am getting alot of push back from the insurance adjuster regarding the replacement of the roof.

Isnt evaloy the polymer used to modify PVC to keep it pliable? You might want to find a brand on that material.

Elvaloy roof

I am the roofer bidding the repair, possible replacement, to be determined.

Elvaloy is a Dupont product and it is the top layer of a builtup roof.

Anyone have experience with this product?

I do Built Up Roofing, and if it is the top layer, it must be EVERY layer, because in a BUR configuration, every sheet has a portion of it exposed.

Are you talking about PVC with evaloy?
