Just saw this on the news.
The city of Vancouver has now entered into the city building code, the use of levers only, no more door knobs.
They figure that it is the next step in making Vancouver the most accessable city. :rolleyes:

And so can everyone else, if you think about it. Ever tried to open a door knob with your elbow with a bag of groceries in each hand?
No, but I do get the lever stuck in my jacket pocket about twice a week. It's the same issue as not having a rail return to the wall.

That's true. A few times my bags get hooked and I swing face first into the wall.

Yes residential as well.
Better for seniors and handi-cap people, as well as stoners.
An on line, or phone in survey that the news channel did found that 72% of people disagreed with the decision.
Didn't mention stoners.
Don't think they could remember how to vote. :laughing:
