I'm thinking about changing to the dewalt 20v system after seeing recent reviews, mostly on here. Looks like a great deal, those 4.0 ah batteries.

My makita lxt tools (3 years old) are still good so talking myself into buying another set is a little tough though.

My depot had the Brushless Makita Drill and Impact Kit Marked clearance for $239 but they were sold out. I wonder if new models are on the way.

I just bought the 18v dewalt hammer drill and impact kit with two batteries cause Home Depot has them clearances at 179.00! How can you beat that? The batteries alone cost almost that. I have used dewalt for years and it was awesome to get a cordless hammer drill and impact driver. Two very indispensable tools.
