Demo trim price
Anyone care to offer an estimate for removing 3 1/4" base and QR. I've completed the job but the insurance co want's several prices broken out. This is the only one I don't have a reasonable idea on. TY in advance.:confused1:

I once did an insurance claim for a customer. The bid was a lump sum for all repairs. It was approved by the homeowner and insurance company. After the work was completed, the insurance company wanted a break down of what each task cost. I guestimated so the total reflected my original bid total. They tried to pick it apart a little but eventually backed down.

I would have thought a simple question would illicit a simple answer, but not this simple "minded". If you don't know the answer don't show your ignorance and clutter the threads. I simply needed a reasonable figure to use for a demo price of trim by the linear ft. I was the second contractor on this job and because the customer is a friend don't have the original contractor's price and my estimating program doesn't have it listed. Thank you in advance should you provide an answer.

You already have the number... you said you did the job, and you have EVERYTHING else broken down simply subtract all your broken down numbers from your final charged price... and guess what remains?? the difference is your answer.
