Deck lattice

Worked on this project today. All cedar 1x2. I loved how this looked when finished. Working in the stairs tomorrow.

The tight stripes give me a headache in the picture, maybe they are easier to look at in real life. Good job anyhoo.
My standard skirting is horizontal 3/4" x 2 3/4" cypress. I like the look.
Looks nice. I like the natural wood combined with the green rails, posts and fascia.

I'd just be nervous of bowing/warping but it looks slick. :thumbup:

Did you install screen on the backside? Just curious.
Looks good! :) how many hours did it take? I do agree with FramingPro tho about the warping etc

not sure on the total hours. I only did a portion of it from the high part of the deck around the angles and back to the house took me a day. Not sure about warping. I'd imagine there will be some but we put some vertical boards in the center of the runs to keep it straight.
Did you use SS nails and PL Glue on the fastening. or as soon as the wood starts to twist and the standard nail rust out within 2 months, that lettuce work will be a mess

we used the ss nails.
