What do you mean. I'm guessing cellular data to search out wi-fi hot spots? If so then no. You can turn your 3G/4G of and still find and use wi-fiCaliforniadecks said:

It will probably eat up to a gig with a full day streaming.SPOTIFY! Does anyone have this music app and does it use a lot of data?
I use it most every day. It will use your data, if you stream it, but if you pay 10 bucks a month, you just download all the music you could ever want when you have it connected to a wi-fi spot. Then it doesn't use any.SPOTIFY! Does anyone have this music app and does it use a lot of data?
She pays the 9.99 I just put them both on a Data diet! They are allowed 2 gigs a month each it's 10 bucks each gig after that. They are both in school so it will come out of their 100 dollar a month stipend.BCConstruction said:Yes most spotify tracks can run upto 320kbps so if streaming all day you could eat up data pretty quickly. As far as I know though they only very recently started letting non subscribers stream to mobile devices. You used to have to make playlists if you didn't pay the $9.99 and they don't use data.
You can make playlist available in offline mode. You sync them on wi-fi so it doesn't use cellular data.SPOTIFY! Does anyone have this music app and does it use a lot of data?
