Ive been asked to install windows in a concrete block and plaster home in a hurricane prone area. Most are standard and not a problem. But there is a large arch in the bathroom exterior wall (see photo) and customer has gone through several ideas with me - fill with glass block, three sheets of tempered glass, three impact resistant window units.
To stop the back and forth I am hoping to come up with a couple of good ideas for the customer but am a bit stumped.
Glass block: ugly from outside
Window units: no privacy unless exterior film is applied
Tempered glass: may not survive a wind storm.
Would appreciate any ideas that have worked for your customers.
Thanks!
Mark
